Our Missionaires
Overseas, Grace Community Church supports
- Kitwe, Zambia - Sergio & Nancy Bersaglio
- Mali, Africa - Berry & Terry
- Altia, Siberia - Alexey and Tonia Pankov
They have been doing this since March 2008 and are primarily focused on developing nationals throughout the Republic of Altai; helping them become the next generation of leaders in their communities. They work closely with the Russian Assemblies of God, as Emmanuel Church in Moscow is considered one of their 'homes' and has played a vital role in their journey to the mission field.
Their passions include helping people grow and mature in their spiritual walk, pouring into the lives of youth and students, and using English teaching as a tool for evangelism. They were married in June 2003 in Moscow, where they they had met one year earlier. Tonia is originally from Saskatchewan and together they worked in Moscow for about five years before relocating to beautiful Altai.
- Ukraine - Pastor Yuriy & Olya Syemichkov
- Estonia - Rod & Kaja Corcoran
Rodney and Kaja have been ministering in Estonia for over eight years in many different capacities. Their main focus has been in youth ministry: discipling youth, youth leadership development and pouring into the future of Estonia. Since 2007, Rodney expanded his training of national youth leaders outside of Estonia. The Corcorans have partnered with Next Level International (NLI) with a focus on the Balkan region. Rodney is currently working on projects in Bulgaria and Estonia with NLI, as well developing projects for other countries in the Balkan region such as Serbia, Albania and potentially other regions.
In addition to Rodney's work across Europe, he is heading up a new church plant in Tallinn, Estonia. Rodney and Kaja focus on developing leaders and disciples to represent the values and life of Jesus in Tallinn and across Estonia.
Kaja's heart and passion is for the Estonian people to come and know the freedom that only Jesus offers. Along with working beside Rodney, Kaja is active in translating and hosting foreign mission teams and raising the their two children.
The Corcorans have one daughter, Emily Kaisa, who celebrated her fourth birthday on February 3rd 2010. Emily has brought such joy into her parent's lives. January 15th, 2009 the Corcoran's were excited with the arrival of Mattias Joseph. Mattias has brought a new level of joy to the Corcoran family!
