Missions
In the Area of missionsIt is our desire at Grace Community Church to reach the people of the world with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ through a Holistic approach of ministry to the body, the mind and the Spirit, with the time and the abilities that God gives us to reach the entire world. Because of this, there is strong emphasis throughout the whole church toward World Missions. This means that Grace Community Church is supporting foreign missionaries and local ministries right here at home. Grace Community Church encourages individuals and small groups to be the face of love within our community and around the world. What does this look like? Grace Community Church supports the Village of Hope (an orphanage) in Kitwe, Zambia, Barry and Terry Newman in Mali, Africa, Alexey and Tonya Pankov in Altia, Siberia, Pastor Yuri in the Ukraine, and Rod Corcoran in Estonia. Locally, we support the opportunity for life-changing rehabilitation for people in need at Teen Challenge and support Ian Croatto, the Dean of Men there. As well as partnering with Kyle Mason the founder of The North End Family Center to assist the less fortunate right here in our own city. And on and on it goes with our Missions program active around the world, our country and our own city and in the hearts of individuals here at Grace Community Church. |
